We have a job opening as a Shop Coordinator in charge of coordinating all receiving and handling of inventory and keeping the shop in a clean, organized state. The CSM shop is constantly busy with new deliveries and shipments being made each day. This person will need to be organized and enjoy working with their hands.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all receiving and handling of deliveries made to CSM Shop Warehouse.

• Shipping, delivery, and pickup of fabricated materials including finished, semi-finished, and manufactured.

• Shop cleanup such as sweeping, dusting, and painting.

• Tracking and storage of all equipment / material related to CSM projects.

• Counting of inventory and organization of all loft storage.

• Report status of equipment deliveries to purchasing manager and shop foreman.

• Maintenance duties such as repair and maintenance of hand tools, equipment, machinery, trailers, and trucks including DOT truck inspections.

• Tool crib duties such as assignment of hand tools and equipment, electrical and non-electrical.

• Any other duties assigned by shop foreman.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications​

• Ability to work overnight and weekends as required

• Ability to lift medium to heavy weight without assistance

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Join the Local Union No. 20 which requires drug testing

Preferred Qualifications/Experience​

• A desire to learn the functionality of job shop supply chain and be challenged everyday

• Prior experience in receiving/handling role
